Hail & Chip

Our sweet little Hail is proper, polite, and always a lady. We call her our princess puppy. She loves a soft bed and a little bit of pampering, but she is also very nurturing. She loves children and she really enjoys being a mama. She is very smart. Hail is more vocal that our other goldens, but it is in a fun conversational way. She isn't a reactionary or excessive barker, it is more like talking when she uses her voice with different tones and short and long barks. Her voice is something we love about her.

Chip came to us from North Carolina. He was bred by Golden Hour Kennels. His mother is a field golden and his father a show golden. Chip has a loving and happy go lucky personality that is well tempered with his natural confidence and curiosity. He is a partner and loyal friend. He loves people and is great with kids.

Both Hail and Chip are high intelligence and medium drive dogs which is a wonderful combination for temperament.

Size & Color

 

Chips and Hail are both beautiful dogs with lean athletic builds. Hail is 50 pounds and Chip is 65. Both Chip and Hail carry the genes for long hair, lighter shedding coats. Hail's top coat and undercoat are both dark red. Chips top coat is dark red, but his undercoat is a shade lighter, giving him a beautiful two-toned look.

The health testing for this litter isn't perfect, but where one dog has a weakness the other has strengths. We have carefully considered the the health, temperament, structure, and pedigree of both dogs in making this pairing and we are enjoying these beautiful, smart, sweet pups.
